Nakato Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar is a Family owned restaurant that has become a Myrtle Beach favorite for over 30 yrs. The Nakato family has taken extreme pride in serving nothing but the highest quality food for an outstanding dining experience. In Japan, food preparation is considered an art form and is taken very seriously. Teppan-yaki or “table top” cooking is a self-expression of the master chef. It is characterized by an intricate combination of hibachi grilling and entertainment showcasing the Chefs culinary skills. The Nakato family brought this exquisite dining experience to the Myrtle Beach area in 1978. Nakato was the first restaurant to introduce sushi, teppan-yaki, and robata to the Myrtle Beach area.
